It would seem reasonable that the cgi object would get killed by
closing
the browser connection while data was still being transferred.
After all,
closing the browser connection will close the server's Fd, which
kills the
request, along with all of the CGI objects created for the Fd, iirc.
The real question is what causes the error during normal operation
(assuming that it actually happens in "normal" operation).
If you reload the same page before the data for the current page has
been sent, could that close the server fd?
That would explain some nbio errors. I have some webmasters here who
are unable to click on their mouse _once_.
