Hey Marek,
Happy to read from you :)
As you've seen lately, I've sucked badly at maintaining any of
my packages
in Debian, including Caudium. Alas, it resulted in Caudium being
withdrawn from
edgy release, which I am really sorry for... I just couldn't handle
the load
and had to make (arbitrary) choices or go crazy.
Sometimes life forces us to do some choices.
I hope you'll continue to have fun and do a good job for your current
occupation.
Yesterday I've given up my Debian membership and orphaned all
the packages I
maintained. But if you need any help related to the packages, just
let me know.
Once again, I'm sorry for the screwup with Caudium on Debian,
take care guys
I guess the withdraw from Debian is now definitive.
We have to organise ourselves to still get Caudium easily accessible.
Has someone enough Debian background to handle the package? Should we
set up an unofficial repository or getting into backports and
unstable would be sufficient?
I'm not sure i'd like to take the maintainership on the package, but
as a Debian user, i'll be very happy to help.
So long, and thanks for all the packages!
